Newton Aycliffe Neighbourhood Police Update

🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗧𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗬𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗙𝗘 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 🚨
 

Good evening, here’s a brief overview of what we have been up to over the past week or so;

🚓 On Monday afternoon, a female was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, and also for child neglect.

📜 On Monday evening, two youths have attended the station along with their parents and signed an Acceptable Behaviour Contract, after being identified as being involved in Anti-Social Behaviour in the town centre.

🔒 In the early hours of Wednesday, two male youths were arrested on several offences, including burglary, following a short pursuit. One of the males has been remanded into custody until he appears at Court at the end of February.

🗣️ Also on Wednesday, PCSOs attended a Resident's Meeting at the ARK, Silverdale Place to discuss any issues residents were having.

👮 On Wednesday evening, a male was arrested for several offences following a domestic related report.

🚨 Also on Wednesday evening, officers responded to a call for concern for a female. Fortunately, she was located shortly after fit and well.

👮‍♀️ In the early hours of Friday, a female was arrested for several offences following a domestic related report.

🚔 Also on Friday, a well-known shoplifter was arrested for several offences by PCs Knight & Agar. The female was charged with these offences and sent straight to Court.

🚓 On Saturday night, response officers responded to a report of a missing child. Shortly after the call was made, the youth was located fit and well.
